Under the leadership of Dr Sarah Russell, Research Matters is committed to high quality, ethical research. Our areas of expertise are public health, mental health and aged care.

Research Matters has considerable experience in community engagement and participation processes.

We have built a strong reputation for working respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds. Most of our research is undertaken in partnerships with academics, health care practitioners, policy makers, consumers and community groups.

In 2016, Sarah established Aged Care Matters. She believes aged care system requires greater scrutiny, accountability and transparency. She encourages informed discussions based on evidence, recognising the rights of older people to have the best possible support, care and quality of life.
