In 2017, Dr Russell was commissioned to write a grant to fund the digitalisation of The Royal Melbourne, Royal Children’s, Women’s and Peter MacCallum hospitals. The grant application titled “Connecting care in Parkville: a digital transformation to provide safer care” was successful.
